OREGON.

Where do I even start? Less than two months from the day deciding, lets look into moving to Oregon and possibly buy a house, we were here.

Moving has been nothing short of completely chaotic. We both waited last minute for almost everything. We were literally packing boxes as the moving truck was at our house packing up our items. With bits of the kitchen, bits of the living room and bits of whatever else was laying around, I shoved everything into the empty boxes laying around the house. Not only did we have to pack our entire house but we also had to sell the one we were living in. So throw into the mix having to completely re-do, re-paint and fix up everything in our house, while dealing with open houses and having to be out of the house all day- all weekend long. All I was doing was looking forward to getting to our new house and relaxing, SIKE. Time to unpack and do it all over again here.

Within the first week we were here, both boys were throwing up with a stomach bug and we had to take Roman to the ER. The house is a bit more of a fixer upper than we had seen and expected and I pretty much just feel like I'm stuck in a vortex trying to grasp reality and somewhat deny that my friends and family are hours and hours away.

Both boys are completely off of their schedule and most days we are driving around just to get Roman to nap. He decided he no longer likes his crib and will climb right out if we even try to put him near it and daddy is kicked out of the bed because Roman is hell bent of sleeping with me. Im not complaining.

Amongst the chaos, there is so much beauty to really be bummed about anything. We have a huge and beautiful yard, the people here are so kind, we finally live in a HOUSE, not a town house, and I get to wake up, have a cup of coffee and watch my kids run outside, truly what I've always dreamt of.

Moving here I told myself I needed to set goals and achieve every single one of them.
Here were my goals:

1. Work out more
2. Blog more often
3. Set up my studio and work daily
4. Start setting up photoshoots monthly for my blog
5. Decorate the house that I've always dreamt of decorating
6. Start practicing yoga
7. Meditate daily
8. Make a vision board

These are a few things I set to focus on for MYSELF.
When making such a huge and drastic change, I think it's pretty important to have something to look forward to. It is SO easy to get back into your every day routine and not make the change you want to make.
I recently read "You are a Badass" (READ IT!) and it talks about envisioning what you want and it will happen. Believe it before you can see it, and it will come to you. My goal is to make it happen. ALL OF IT.

You don't have to make a physical change to make a mental change, but this journey for me has come hand in hand. It has been one of the wildest and best decisions I have ever made.

Little by little I am working on not only big steps, but these little ones that will help keep me..well..ME! Staying grounded, focusing on goals and bettering myself and my family everyday.

You Guys! I've been holding this back for WAY too long. But I think it's time I finally share the news, WE'RE BUYING A HOME! AND relocating to a different state!
We currently are living in Santa Cruz, California and we are buying in Medford, Oregon. It's going to be a huge move and most likely a bit of a shock, but I am so excited for the change.

In my next blog post I want to write about why we decided to move and a little bit more of the process! We've been dealing with SO much getting our house on the market and getting through all of the little details, so I've been pretty busy. But I'm super excited to be able to go through such a huge change and share the process with you all!

Top 10 Apps every biz owner needs

So nowadays, a lot of businesses owners run their business from their phone! We live in the modern world where we are lucky to have that connection with the rest of the world at our fingertips.

Here are my must have apps:

1. Rhonna
Rhonna is an app that you can make graphics on. You can add text, graphics, colors, backgrounds etc to your own photo or make your own design! It is great to use to post about sales, promotions, or cute designs to post to enhance your feed!

2. RhonnaCollage
This is just an addition to Rhonna where you can select from a wider selection of backgrounds and different graphics. They go hand in hand, but great to have!

3. VSCO
My all time favorite editing app. This app has amazing photo editing options with a huge selection of presets for your graphics. The presets cost but are worth it. My favorite presets are 06, C1-C3 and E1-E6. I use those on EVERYTHING!

4. Facetune
Facetune is a great app for editing photos of people and products. You can smooth the surface, brighten the image and enhance the color. This isn't just to make your face look pretty, this is a great app to use on everything.

5. layout
This is a great app if you want to make a collage of multiple photos you have. Just a simple app, but totally necessary.

6. Squareready
This app lets your downsize your image to fit into the square you post on instagram. If you're super OCD like me, any many others, you don't want your image getting cut off, so this fixes that! adds a white boarder and keeps the image smaller.

7. Boomerang
This is a fun little app that lets you snap a quick video to post on instagram.

8. Hootsuite
Hootsuite lets you plan out your social media posts and schedule them to post for you. The only app it won't post for is Instagram, which is kind of a bummer and my most used app so i don't use this app as much, but I still think it's a beneficial app.

9. Mailchimp
Mailchimp is an app used for your email subscribers. You can check your subscriber list, the open rate, click rate and more. For those who are focused on growing their email subscriber list, this is a must have!

10. MC Snap
Also used for the email subscribers, MC Snap sends out newsletters! Super simple to do and you can still include links, images and a header.

That's it!

These are all apps I use daily when needing to create graphics, edit photos and post to social media. There any many other apps that can help you with budgeting, billing, marketing etc, but these are my daily go to's!

Nightly Skin Care Regimen

Hey guys! So a few of you have asked me about my skin care regimen, so this post is for you! I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and am allergic to 9 out of 10 products I try. So it's taken me YEARS to get this down and be able to use and combine products that don't make me break out in hives..and pimples.

Here's how it goes, Enjoy!

1. First I start by wiping off my make up (or sweaty face) with Garner skin active refreshing remover!
You can snag these at target for $4.79

2. Then I use my Clarisonic "sonic radiance skin renewing peel wash" on my Clarisonic Brush.
I really like this wash because it is a peel and dries out my skin and really clears it up! You shouldn't use peels daily, so I use this about three times a week!

I purchased both of mine from Macy's as a bundle but they can be purchased separately as well! Clarisonic brush is $99 and the wash is $25.

3. I then follow that with my scrub, or use the scrub on the days I don't use the peel. The face wash I use is called Pacifica glow baby.
I love this product because unlike normal scrubs that make me break out, this helps clear my skin without it breaking out first. It's a very soft scrub.

You can find this product at both Target and Ulta for around $14!

4. I then rinse my face with cold water to close my pores up and apply Insta natural Moroccan rose water! This is like my hidden secret of all secrets. Rose water is so good for your skin! and perfect when your skin is drying out but you don't want to douse it in lotion and clog your pores. I LOVE this stuff!

You can buy this on Amazon for $17.97, worth every penny!

5. Lastly! I apply my lotion, Mineral Fusion skin- balancing moisturizer.  I have had the hardest time finding lotions. Because like I said, I am allergic to so many products. But I had heard amazing things about this lotion helping clear scars, and being really good for evening your complexion out, so I gave it a try and have never gone back! This stuff is the best.

I also order this one off of Amazon for $15.15

All of these products last a long time! A little goes a long way and keeps your face fresh and beautiful!

I hope you all enjoyed this blog and try out some new products!
