     Okay ladies, I have shared with you a few posts on the effects frank has had on my body, but I wanted to go a little further and give you a bit more information. Quite a few of you had asked me a few questions about frank that no one could know but the frank team! So I got in contact with them to dig a little deeper into this gold mine! I sent in a few commonly asked questions and some questions I had for them as well and got the answers straight from Frank's founders. So, here we go!

1. When did frank launch and how many members of your team did it take to start up this product

 

frank body launched in June of 2013 as a project between five friends; Alex, Bree, Jess, Eri and Steve. It took all of our energy and the help of a very enthusiastic group of casual employees to get frank up and off the ground.

 

2. is your company based in one city or expanding elsewhere

 

frank started in Melbourne Australia, his home town. After the humbling success in the first six months, frank partnered with a USA distributor based in LA, and most recently a UK distributor: the goal was to be able to offer free, fast shipping nearly everywhere in the world.

 

3. is frank coffee scrub the only product you have or will you launch other products as well

 

frank likes to scrub and tell, that much we know, but he also likes to keep a few things secret – so he can surprise his frankfurts. Right now however, we’re focusing on the launch of our third scrub, the cacao edition.

 

4. is frank a long term product, or if you stop using it will results fade

 

frank is all about exfoliating the skin and assisting with skin conditions. While many will see great results quite quickly, we recommend sticking with frank for the long run to reduce the chances of conditions reappearing, and to keep skin smooth. Just like most beauty routines- cleansing and moisturisng- scrubbing is for life.

 

5. how and why is frank so affordable yet so effective

 

We wanted to create a product that everyone could use. The ingredients are simple, natural, and known for their beauty enhancing and healing properties. We wanted our product to be simple, beautiful and affordable.

 

6. how many members does it NOW take to run franks products

 

Along with the five founders there are several more people involved in day to day running of the business now: the distribution teams around the world, our customer service team, our manufacturers and of course Willow & Blake – the communications agency that belongs to three members of the original team- who look after all brand and marketing responsibilities.

 

7. can you use frank if you are pregnant

 

We recommend chatting to your doctor before using frank while you’re pregnant as it is a caffeinated product. There is a small chance that some of the caffeine can be absorbed while scrubbing, but for the most part scrubbing whilst pregnant has proven to be safe.

 

8. how often should you use frank for the most effective results

 

We suggest getting dirty with frank twice a week for maximum results.

 

9. how and why did frank originate, was it from someone who was struggling with skin problems? or was it created knowing how many people it could help and benefit.

 

It was a combination of things – Steve owns a café in Melbourne and had some female customers routinely asking for the left over coffee grind. At around the same time we all travelled to Bali and noticed the high frequency of coffee scrub treatments. Steve was the first to notice the potential to produce and market this product to the masses and after a bit more research we discovered that there were an incredible amount of benefits to using fresh coffee topically.
