It's okay to take a shower while they are sleeping.
It's okay to also not have showered for three days now, oops.
It's okay to wear your favorite jewlery still.
It's okay to put some makeup on and go out to dinner with a friend.
It's okay to need a little alone time to gather your thoughts.
It's okay to feel like you're going a little crazy sometimes, because we are.
It's okay that the dishes aren't done and the house isn't vaccuumed right now, you'll get to it.
It's okay that getting dressed is getting into a clean pair of leggings, we all do it.
It's okay to have a glass of wine at the end of the night, noones calling CPS for that.
It's okay to hide in the bathroom and read your favorite magazine for a couple extra mins.. *Cough, twenty, cough.*
It's okay to ask, and expect, help from dad. They're his kids too.
It's okay to have a tv day, a junk food day, an easy day- some days you need to just get through it, without losing your mind.. And everything else around you.
It's okay to feel scared. Being a mom is a scary thing. But you can do it.
It's okay to ask for help from family, it doesn't make you any less of a mother.
It's okay to go in public with baby throw up on your clothes.
It's okay to have only had four cups of coffee and no food. Not really, but we all do it.
It's okay to cry. It really, really is.
It's okay that having baby poop on your hands is pretty standard.
It's okay to now think, "I pushed a baby out of my vagina, I can do anything." Well, it's true.
It's okay to go in public with baby throw up on your clothes.
It's okay to have only had four cups of coffee and no food. Not really, but we all do it.
It's okay to cry. It really, really is.

It's okay to still do activities you used to do. Find a way to incorporate your children into them now! Our little humans really are the best sidekicks.
It's okay to navigate through motherhood how YOU want to, need to, and love to.
It's okay to be the crazy mom, loud mom, fun mom. The strict mom, calm mom or quiet mom. But it's a happy mom that we all need to be.
Rememer a happy mom raises happy kids! Our kids are always our first priority, but remember to make yourself a priority as well.
